Faculty of Law Reviews 30 Student Research Projects for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

On 3 June 2026, the Faculty of Law, Ton Duc Thang University, organised the faculty-level review of student research projects for the 2025–2026 academic year. A total of 30 projects were presented and defended, demonstrating students’ serious academic engagement, legal reasoning skills and sustained efforts throughout the research process. As a result, all 30 projects were approved by the review committees at the faculty level.

Student research is an important academic activity in the Faculty of Law’s training process. Through research projects, students have the opportunity to develop research methodology, teamwork skills, presentation capacity, critical thinking and the ability to defend scholarly arguments. The activity also enables students to apply their legal knowledge to the analysis of practical issues while cultivating independent, rigorous and responsible research thinking.

The projects submitted this year reflected a wide range of research areas with both theoretical and practical value. The topics covered civil law, criminal law, procedure, intellectual property, digital assets, electronic evidence, child protection, restorative justice and legal issues arising in the digital environment. This diversity illustrates the students’ awareness of contemporary legal developments, their proactive learning spirit and their aspiration to contribute to academic knowledge.

Based on the evaluation results of the review committees, 11 projects were recommended for further improvement and submission to the university-level review. This is a notable achievement and an important motivation for the research teams to continue revising and enhancing the quality of their scientific work in accordance with the committees’ professional comments.

The Faculty of Law sincerely acknowledges the efforts of the student research teams, the dedicated support of academic supervisors and the serious work of the review committees. The results achieved not only affirm the quality of student research activities at the Faculty, but also help foster a stronger research culture, encouraging students to explore knowledge, develop legal thinking and contribute more actively to the academic community in the coming time.
