Faculty of Law Ton Duc Thang University Welcomes Academic Delegation from the University of Lodz (Poland)
Fostering Legal Education Cooperation and International Exchange
On October 30, 2025, the Faculty of Law – Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) had the pleasure of receiving a visiting delegation from the University of Lodz (Poland). This meeting was part of TDTU’s broader strategy for internationalizing higher education and expanding global legal research networks.
Delegates and Key Discussions
The delegation from the University of Lodz included:
- Prof. Aneta Balcerczyk – Vice Dean, Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection
- Dr. Iwona Dembowska Wosik – Representative of the Faculty of Philology, responsible for the Polish as a Foreign Language National Certification Exam and the Rector’s Representative for the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)
- Dr. Michal Zareba – Researcher at the Faculty of Asian Studies
- Ms. Malgorzata Gramala – Director of the International Cooperation Centre
On TDTU’s side, the meeting was attended by the Faculty of Law’s Board of Deans and lecturers and staff members of the faculty.
The two parties engaged in productive discussions on the following potential cooperation areas: Academic staff and student exchange programs; Joint legal research projects; International conferences, workshops, and academic seminars
Strengthening Legal Integration and Mutual Development
The meeting took place in a warm, open, and professional atmosphere, laying the foundation for long-term academic cooperation. Both sides expressed a strong mutual interest in formalizing the collaboration and agreed to pursue a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future.
This partnership is expected to create meaningful academic exchange opportunities between Vietnam and Poland, and contribute to the sustainable integration of Vietnamese legal education within the broader European and global academic landscape.
