TDTU Faculty of Law signs MOA with Udayana University Faculty of Law in Indonesia

On 18 September 2026, the Faculty of Law at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Law at Udayana University, Indonesia, for a working session and the signing of a faculty-level cooperation agreement. The event marked a new development in the academic relationship between the two institutions and further expanded the international partnership network of the TDTU Faculty of Law.

The delegation from Udayana University was led by Prof. Dr. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, Dean of the Faculty of Law. Representing the TDTU Faculty of Law, Chau Bao Anh, LL.M., PhD Candidate and Vice Dean, chaired the reception and working session.

During the meeting, representatives of both faculties introduced their respective development strategies, academic programmes and research activities. The discussions focused on potential cooperation in education, scientific research, faculty and student exchange, as well as the joint organisation of international conferences, seminars and other academic activities.

A key part of the programme was the signing of a faculty-level cooperation agreement between the TDTU Faculty of Law and the Udayana University Faculty of Law. The agreement provides a formal basis for the two faculties to develop and implement cooperative initiatives that reflect their respective strengths, needs and practical capacities.

Through this agreement, faculty members from both universities will have further opportunities to exchange academic expertise, share teaching experience, undertake collaborative research and jointly publish research findings. Students are also expected to benefit from broader opportunities for academic exchange, intercultural engagement and participation in international learning activities.

The establishment of this partnership with the Udayana University Faculty of Law reflects the continuing commitment of the TDTU Faculty of Law to internationalisation. It also contributes to strengthening connections between legal education institutions in Vietnam and Indonesia, thereby facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience in legal education and research.

Following the signing, the two faculties will continue their discussions to translate the agreed areas of cooperation into appropriate programmes and activities, with the objective of developing a stable, practical and effective academic partnership.
